Fire spreads each tick to any tree or cabin touching a flame — up, down, left, right. It cannot cross rivers, rock, bare ground, or your cuts. On windy nights, embers also leap two tiles downwind — over water, rock, even your cuts — so dig your line deep. Windy nights grant a seventh cut. A cut tree is lost, but the trees behind it may live. Everyone fights the same fire and gets one attempt each day; practice forests are unlimited.
